Gold Coast TechSpace is a community workshop for people who like to make, fix, tinker and learn. Members can build, repair and experiment here, and use tools they wouldn’t have at home — including our CO₂ laser cutter.
The Workshop
This is where most of the work gets done. There are workbench bays fitted out for electronics, soldering and repairs, with test gear, storage tubs and good lighting. Bring a project, a broken gadget or just an idea.

The Main Hall
On meetup nights we hire the main hall for workshops, talks, show-and-tell, model painting and general socialising. It’s a good place to meet members and see what people are working on.

The Quiet Room
Our computer lab, for programming, CAD and design, 3D-print slicing and research. It’s a calmer space away from the noise of the workshop, and it doubles as extra storage.

The Storage Room (aka the Boneyard)
Shelves of parts, components and donated gear. It’s also where dead electronics end up. Strip them for motors, switches, screens and other spare parts, and keep good components out of landfill.
