Gold Coast TechSpace is a community based, hackerspace/makerspace, focusing on technology. We exist to promote technology on the Gold Coast by providing a location where people of all ages and experience can get together to help each other, learn and develop innovative technology, together.

Kid Hack

KidHack is a self-paced program where participants can learn various skills and engage in hands-on projects.
Our TechSpace mentors are available to assist with any questions or difficulties you may encounter.

If you’re a first-timer, feel free to bring in broken toys for repair.
Additionally, we encourage participants to disassemble electrical/electronic devices such as laptops and printers to repurpose their parts for other projects.
Throughout the program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to use tools, solder electronic kits, gain knowledge in basic electronics, and even learn how to repair most devices.
We take pride in our commitment to sustainability, and many of our projects are created using recycled parts. At the end of each session, you can expect to take something valuable away with you.

Cost:
$15 per session and must be prepaid to the following BSB code: 7740011 Account Number: 205532328. Use your email as a reference. Spaces are limited so pay early to secure your spot. You will receive confirmation of your spot via email.
